Ce travail de recherche s’est attaché à explorer la clinique de la bande dessinée, avec pour désir de saisir ce qui fait la spécificité de son système langagier, ce qui structure sa narration et sa matérialité, dans la perspective d’éclairer quelles en sont les potentialités signifiantes. Ce travail s’inscrit au carrefour d’une rencontre entre psychanalyse et sémiotique de la bande dessinée, sans laquelle il n’aurait pu exister. Au fond, il s’agit de comprendre quels sont les processus psychiques qui vont être réactualisés par ce rapport à la bande dessinée et à ses spécificités langagières. Ce travail s’est nourri de bandes dessinées réalisées dans la cadre de soins hospitaliers en psychiatrie mais aussi de l’oeuvre de Manu Larcenet qui, si elle ne s’inscrit pas spécifiquement dans le champ psychiatrique, est teintée par la question de la souffrance psychique. Dans l’étroite lignée Freudienne, c’est par la « psychanalyse structurale », méthodologie d’approche inspirée des apports structuralistes de Arasse et de Barthes, que ces différentes productions ont pu être saisies, interrogées et parlées. Trois lignes directrices ont alors été explorées dans leurs spécificités comme dans leurs entrecroisements. Ainsi, la bande dessinée a été attrapée du côté de la corporéité psychique en tant qu’elle est pétrie par le temps et l’espace, mais également du côté du travail de pensée qu’elle réactive et soutient et, enfin, du côté du transfert et de ce qui, en creux et à l’endroit de ses discontinuités, ses vides et pleins, peut se rejouer du rapport aux premiers objets d’amour. Entre psychanalyse et sémiotique, cette recherche s’offre comme une ouverture, une pierre à l’édifice pour penser une clinique de la bande dessinée, qui reste toutefois un objet d’exploration nouveau dans le champ de la psychologie clinique et de la psychopathologie et, par-là, nous réserve certainement encore bien des surprises.

This research work has focused on exploring the comic book clinic, with the desire to capture the specificity of its language system, which structures its narrative and its materiality, in the perspective of enlightening them. are its signifying potentialities. This work is at the crossroads of a meeting between psychoanalysis and semiotics of comics, without which it could not have existed. Basically, it's a matter of understanding what are the psychic processes that will be updated by this report to the comic strip and its linguistic specificities, all the more so since it is a matter of questioning about patients. who produced their own boards. Indeed, this work has been fed by comic strips produced in the context of hospital care in psychiatry but also by the work of Manu Larcenet who, if she does not fit specifically into the psychiatric field, is tinged by the question psychic suffering. In the narrow Freudian lineage, it is through "structural psychoanalysis", methodology of approach inspired by the structuralist contributions of Arasse and Barthes, that these different productions could be grasped, questioned and spoken. Three guidelines were then explored in their specificities as in their intertwining. Thus, the comic book was caught on the side of psychic corporality as it is kneaded by time and space, but also on the side of the work of thought that it reactivates and supports and, finally, on the side of transfer and of what, hollow and at the place of these discontinuities, its empty and full, can be replayed of the relation to the first object of love. This research between psychoanalysis and semiotics offers itself as an opening and a first stone to the building to think a comic book clinic which, rich of this first writing, remains a new object of exploration in the field of psychology clinical and psychopathology and, by that, certainly reserves many surprises.
