Since 2014-2015, the training programmes offered by the Aix-Marseille University's Doctoral College (DC) are part of the Individual Training Contract that each doctoral candidate must validate at the end of his/her thesis period, and which requires 100 hours of training during this period, divided as follows:
Disciplinary training is organised by the doctorale schools and research laboratories. Interdisciplinary and professional training courses are offered by the DC, in partnership with various academic and non-academic institutions and structures. The training programmes set up by the DC have as a specificity, and challenge, their transversal nature; they seek to stimulate the interest and respond to the expectations of all doctoral candidates, whatever their field of study.
