Techniques maîtrisées

•Molecular biology (Cloning, PCR, DNA purification). •Biochemistry (Pull down assays, Protein purification, SDS-Page, Western Blot, Silver staining, in vitro assays). •Cell biology (Transfection techniques, CRISPR/Cas9, Live cell imaging). •Cell culture (Saccharomyces cerevisiae, SF9, BMN4). •Microscopy (Epifluorescence, Immunofluorescence, Confocal, TIRF, STED, SIM).

Compétences

Time management. Problem solving & perseverance: Sometimes when doing science, it can be easy to get demotivated when experiments go wrong or don’t work as expected. I am learning how to quickly solve a problem when needed and in long term to be perseverant. Team-working and delegate: Specially with the training of a master student, I want to develop team-working skills and also to learn how to trust my colleagues and be able to delegate work if necessary. Project management: By the end of my PhD I expect to be a fully independent researcher that is able to manage a project from the beginning to the end. Communication skills & adaptability: By moving to another country which also speaks another language I am improving my adaptability. In addition, working with people from another countries is helping me develop my communication skills. Regarding written and oral communications, I would like to be able to present my work and convey ideas and information in front of a crowd of whatever size. For this, I already did several poster and oral presentations. I would like to learn and master how to properly write a scientific report or article.
