• Experienced in organic synthesis, column chromatography and microwave reactions. • Experienced in using 1H, 13C NMR, IR and mass spectroscopy to identify organic compounds synthesized as well as elemental analysis. • Experienced in performing microbiological assays including determination of the MICs of compounds, examination of the effect of the compounds on efficacy of antibiotics, examination of the manner of cooperation between the EPI and antibiotics. • Experienced in performing the real- time efflux assays using fluorescence techniques. • Experienced in using the robotic platform Freedom EVO Tecan. • Experience in using a microplate reader. • Competent at using bioinformatics databases: NCBI, PDB, EMBL-EBI, UniProt, PUBMED. • Competent at using chemistry softwares: ChemDraw, ISIS Draw, MestReNova, OSIRIS. • Competent at using literature search software to obtain research papers and implementing their findings and methods to reactions, research and microbiological assays. • Competent at complying with Health and Safety regulations in the chemical and microbiological laboratories. • Skilled at communicating scientific work in the form of presentations, posters, written reports and scientific articles.
