enseignant-chercheur, enseignant du supérieur*chercheur en milieu académique*chercheur en entreprise, R&D du secteur privé*pilotage de la recherche et de l’innovation, gestion de projets innovants, pilotage de structures innovantes*métiers d’accompagnement et de support à la recherche, à l’innovation et à la valorisation, au développement des Spin Off et Start-up innovantes*médiation scientifique, communication et journalisme scientifique, édition scientifique, relations internationales*PhD student in Astrophysics and Cosmology at the Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM) as part of the GECO (Galaxies Etoiles and COsmologie) research group since may 2017. I am a highly motivated and hardworking person. Currently, I am developing my Doctoral Thesis performing a morpho-kinematic analysis on Galaxies in dense environments mainly using data obtained from the Integral Field Spectroscopy (IFS) instrument MUSE-VLT (Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer) and also HST COSMOS images. The goal of my thesis project is to provide new insights on the role of environment in galaxy evolution, galaxy mass assembly and star formation history. My eventual career goal is to become a productive researcher with strong interest in Extragalactic Astrophysics, specifically in the topics of formation, evolution, structure and physical properties of galaxies. I also have extensive experience in fitting codes using stellar populations templates as well in the analysis of the resulting models to determine the physical properties of the observed objects. Additionally, I have two years of former experience in dealing and analyzing datacubes of galaxies from CALIFA and MaNGA IFS surveys. Currently, I am member of the MUSE collaboration consortium

Techniques maîtrisées

Computer Skills: Effective use of Operative Systems: Windows, Linux and Mac. Astronomical Packages: Iraf, Topcat. Stellar populations synthesis codes: Galaxev. Manipulation of data cubes: Pingsoft (F.F. Rosales-Ortega) and own routines in IDL. Stellar populations + line fitting for CALIFA and MaNGA data: FIT3D (S.F. Sánchez) and fitting with SSP models:STARLIGHT. Graphic manipulation: Gimp, pgplot, gnuplot, Super Mongo Programming: IDL, Python, Fortran. Document Production: LATEX.

Compétences

Communication Skills: I feel comfortable expressing myself in public, because I constantly give talks and seminars to present the results of my research. I also have a good time management in my presentations. I can express myself clearly, I am eloquent and respectful in my speeches and if it is necessary, I have the ability to add important aspects during my talks. I write coherent texts with good redaction and organization. Job-related Skills: I have the ability to infer interpretations about physical phenomena from photometric and spectroscopic data. Teaching is an activity of my total satisfaction. I try that my students have a real learning, and I am very creative in the development and implementation of activities with this purpose. I am autodidact and independent so I rapidly learn new skills and knowledge which I require in my work. I have experience in reduction of photometric and spectroscopic data at basic level. I have experience living abroad, so I easily adapt to new living and job environments.
