Monsieur Luis LÓPEZ RÍOS / PhD

The field of semilinear elliptic problems is a very important topic that has strong motivations in physics, biology, chemistry, among others. My research focus on study some properties of a semilinear problem motivated in combustion theory. This is carry under the supervision of the nonlinear analysis group from the University of Chile. This group has a strong relationship with his French counterpart, in particular the Laboratoire d'analyse, topologie et probabilités (LATP). It will be a great opportunity to know the work that has been developed in Marseille, in particular that of Professor Yannick Sire (LATP), as well to share our results with local mathematicians.
