Learn to write a scientific paper. This course follows a workshop in which you've learned methodologies to write documents that are clear, complete and concise, as well as an algorithm to write scientific articles. You will now apply these methodologies to your article in preparation and leave the course with a much clearer outline.

9h-12h30

- COMPLETENESS
o An algorithm to write a scientific article (reminder)
o From the "problem" to your 3 main results to your conclusion and implications

- CLARITY
o The most common mistake: mixing data, results, conclusion, and implications
o Outlining your article with inverted pyramidal writing

- CONCISENESS
o Two methods to simplify and shorten your article

- CELERITY
o Avoid common time traps when writing articles


13h30-17h
- CHECKING
o Verifying the clarity and coherence of outlines of articles (or texts) written by trainees

- Students must be preparing an article.
- They must come with a laptop computer.

At least a month before the course, trainees must send to the trainer an outline of their paper and two figures

- Edit and revise their article
